Ministry at Mass

Lectors, Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, and Altar Servers participate in the celebration of the Liturgy during both daily and weekend Masses

Pastoral Ministry

Members of this ministry support the Pastor in meeting the spiritual needs of parishioners. A few examples of pastoral care are home and hospital visits, communion calls, providing support to families who have suffered a loss, and pastoral counseling.

Evangelization Ministry

Saint John's Evangelizers joyfully look for opportunities to speak about Christ to both the faithful and non-believers. Faith Sharing is an essential aspect of the Lord's call to witness the word and works of God to others.

Liturgical Council

The Liturgy Committee collaborates with the parish Pastor to ensure parishioners a worship experience that fosters a loving relationship with Jesus Christ. The committee also coordinates the planning and scheduling of liturgical celebrations for seasonal and special celebrations.

Parish Pastoral Council

The Parish Council is a consultative body to the parish Pastor. It provides recommendations for parish priorities, direction and policies to promote communication, understanding, and collaboration among parish organizations and between the parish, the Diocese, and the universal Church.

Finance Council

The Finance Council is a consultative body who assists and advises the parish Pastor in the administration of the parish financial resources including monitoring all income and expenses, and preparation of the annual budgets.

Lectors are readers who proclaim the Scriptures at Mass and other services.

Eucharistic Minister

Extraordinary Ministers of Communion administer the Body and Blood of Christ at Mass and to the sick and homebound.

Altar Servers

Altar Servers assist the priest and deacon at masses, weddings, funerals and other special liturgies and services.

Ushers are the eyes and ears of the congregation. They strive to create an environment where all feel welcome and provide assistance during the  warm place of worship.

Greeters welcome everyone as they enter our church making it a warm, welcoming and inviting place of worship.
